    Join us for a family-friendly evening focused on kids and community. Activities for all ages, food, games, and chances to connect with neighbors. Bring the whole family for fun, fellowship, and community spirit. Free and open to everyone.

  • Brown County Free Fair

    August 12–16 | Brown County Fairgrounds — Civic Center

    Stop by our booth inside the Civic Center for Yellow Ribbon information, apparel, and swag. Talk with volunteers, pick up resources, and take home gear to show your support. We look forward to seeing you!

  • National Suicide Prevention Month

    Check out the New Ulm Chamber on Minnesota and Center Street all September long as we’ll have a window display setup to raise awareness of National Suicide Prevention Month.

  • Shine The Light 2026

    The date is set for our annual Shine the Light: September 20, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Join us at German Park in New Ulm for a day of support and community as we raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. The event will feature food, live music, the Walk of Hope, informational resources, and more. Everyone is welcome—come together to show you care and help shine a light on hope.

  • Schells Brat Stand

    September 26 | 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Schell’s Brewery — New Ulm

    Join us for brats to support our mission of raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Stop by for food, conversation, and community support. All proceeds help fund our local programs and outreach. Everyone is welcome.

  • Parade of Lights

    November 27 — Downtown New Ulm, Minnesota Street

    Join us as we shine the light along the parade route with the Brown County Yellow Ribbon float. Walkers will be lit up in yellow as we shine the light for mental health awareness. We look forward to seeing you there!
